Pastor Jerry Wallace of Winchester, ON, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the age 65.
Loving husband of Bonnie Wallace (nee Edwards). Loving father of Jenn Wallace of Pikangikum, Amy Parker (Danfi) of Toronto, Andrew Wallace of Ottawa, Daniel Wallace* (Candice) of Winchester, Melody Drabiuk (John) of Cornwall and Matthew Wallace (Emeli) of Westport. Dear brother of Patricia Lynch of Wallaceburg and Mark Wallace of Smiths Falls.
* Daniel Wallace (son of Pastor Jerry Wallace), is lead pastor at the Harmony Community Church (EMCC) in Winchester, ON.
Papa will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Maverick, Kalon, Locklin, Shepherd, Emma, Soren and Ruby. Predeceased by his parents Delbert and Joyce Wallace (nee Young) and his sister Judy Merpaw. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
He dedicated his life to sharing the good news of Jesus, his final words were reflective of the treasure of His heart “Jesus”. “Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.” I Timothy 4:7 NIV
Due to Coronavirus restrictions a celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
