    Mrs. King Fa Irene Ma

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Mrs. King Fa Irene Ma on Monday, May 17, 2020 at her home in Mississauga, Ontario.

Mrs. Ma became a Christian through the works of loving missionaries. She later committed herself to God for His ministry. She met Rev. Tai Sum Ma at the Evangel Seminary (previously known as Canton Bible College) during their study in 1952.

In 1957, Rev and Mrs Ma were sent to Malaysia as missionaries. They returned to Hong Kong in 1965 where they served at the True Love Church of the Hong Kong Evangelical Lutheran Church for 14 years. Mrs Ma was, at the same time, a teacher at the ELCHK Faith Love Lutheran School for many years until Rev and Mrs. Ma were sent to continue their mission in North Bay, Canada in 1979. She was devoted her life to serve at Sudbury Chinese EMC, Mississauga Chinese EMC, Triumph Chinese EMC, and Brampton EMC. And volunteered actively at the Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care, Mississauga.

Her husband, Rev. Tai Sum Ma was Triumph EM Church's founding pastor.

Mrs. Ma will be missed by her son (Mathew), daughter in-law (Bonnie), daughter (Grace) and grandsons (Vincent, Robin and Gideon).

The family will be holding a private service at Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery due to Covid-19 restrictions.
