William “Bill” Matson of Bluffton, Alberta passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at the age of 95.  Bill was the father of Anna Whitehead (Rev. Gene Whitehead).

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Hoadley Evangelical Missionary Church at Hoadley, Alberta with Pastor Barry Klassen officiating.

Bill was a lifelong part of the Hoadley EMCC serving as Board Member, Board Chair and Sunday School teacher.
