  • Introducing the Discovery Assessment Project

“Defining Current Reality – Co-Creating the Future”

    Fall 2017

    Dear Friends:

I write this as a Letter of Invitation for you to play a significant role in prayerfully helping co-create the future for the EMCC.

What a delight it has been to be invited to facilitate a series of conversations with your new president, Kervin Raugust, his leadership team and the National Board. President Raugust is very intentional about wanting to co-discover, co-dream, co-design, co-deliver the direction and destiny God has in mind for the denomination. I have been impressed as I have heard your leaders speak of wanting you to hear from God and each other in a way that builds clarity and ownership for the next chapter of your fine denomination.

Every effort is being made to do “deep and wide listening” to hear from you. Every individual insight you share will be kept confidential, and be assured each will be factored into the summarized results. Double effort will be made to use the insights and feedback toward building on the foundation already laid toward the EMCC following in the “Kingdom way of Jesus”.

You are invited to participate in sharing your wise and prayerful insights using the feedback instruments. These have been designed through significant collaboration and dialogue toward gathering as much thoughtful feedback as possible from you.  Please plan to participate in the Discovery Assessment Project this fall by providing your prayerful perspectives, insights and feedback. These can be given through the On-Line Survey, the Focus Groups for Lay People, or the Focus Group for Pastors to be held during the Fall Pastors’ Retreats.

Thank you so much for the investment of your valuable time. I assure you the Discovery Assessment Project Team sincerely care about hearing from you!

    With deep appreciation…
