Three Days of Thankful Prayer: Feasting on God’s Word
From May 21-23, 2026, leading up to Pentecost Sunday and the EMCC Pentecost Offering on May 24, join our family of churches in corporate prayer across the nation.
Our Inspiration
The people of God (nation of Israel) gathered annually for the Feast of Shavuot - three days of feasting and thanksgiving for God’s Word.
In that same spirit of gratitude, we are inviting the entire EMCC family to set aside the same three days, May 21-23, to read God’s Word and pray back Scripture to Him.
We encourage churches to help their members participate by praying together in groups or as congregations.
The Plan
The Prayer Feast will begin on Thursday, May 21, at 1:00 pm EDT, on Zoom, with an EMCC hosted corporate time of prayer focused on thanking God for the gift of His Word and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

During the Three Days of Prayer, we will read the following Scripture passages and turn them into prayers:
May 21 - Nehemiah 8 and 2 Chronicles 34
May 22 - Psalm 119,
May 23 - John 14-17.
