EMCC Next Gen Coach, East or West Region (PT)
EMCC National Team, Remote
The EMCC National team is hiring two Next Gen Coaches. These roles, with one in the east and one in the west of Canada, will serve as a relational coaches and connectors for the two regional segments of EMCC churches and leaders, with a primary focus on leaders who serve children, youth, family and young adults, as well as lead pastors who oversee these ministries.
Under the direction of the Vice President, the Coaches will support churches in nurturing a whole church, Growing Young style culture shift, so that younger generations are actively engaged and developed as disciple-makers and leaders.
These roles exists to address a gap in relational support and connection for Next Gen and younger leaders within the EMCC. The Coaches will invest time and energy in strengthening Next Gen leaders, and helping younger voices be heard and valued in the shared life and leadership of the denomination.
The roles are designed to be shared between two Next Gen Coaches, each serving one region, allowing for collaboration, shared learning, and mutual support.
A Volunteer Next Gen Team and existing EMCC structures will provide additional support for specific initiatives as capacity allows.
Each role is a 12-15 hr/wk position, which contributes to sustainable leadership development, cultural alignment, and spiritual formation across EMCC. Some travel will be required.
