THEME:
Transmission: Interpreting Reality for Our World
Our keynote speakers will lead us in considering 3 aspects of this tremendously important task:
1. Transmission from Generation to Generation: Making Faith Sticky for
our Children. Chap Clark will present important findings from
the recent "Sticky Faith" research from the Fuller Youth Institute.
2. Transmission from Pastor to People: Interpreting Reality in a world with
competing worldviews.Mark Bolender will address the preacher’s task of effectively
interpreting reality for one’s congregation.
3.Transmission from Me to My Community/ Us to Our Community: Incarnating the
Message of Jesus in an inviting, transformational way. Pernell Goodyear will share
learnings from his experience in helping unchurched friends interpret reality in the light of
Christ’s coming.
