The CLOSE TO YOU/TH (Aproape de Tine/ri) ASSOCIATION aims at developing the communitarian region of Craiova and Oltenia by directly involving teenagers and youth in all aspects of social life. Partnering with public and private institutions from social sectors, but not limiting to it, we act to improve the image of the community we are part of and to transform it into a dynamic and responsible society.

VISION. We dream at a dynamic community civically and morally transformed, where teenagers and youth are actively taking part towards the economic, social, cultural and spiritual growth.

OBJECTIVES. In order to reach our vision we focus on:

1. Transforming Craiova and the surroundings in a prosperous and dynamic place
2. Developing the civic spirit for a friendly interaction;
3. Supporting disadvantaged groups;
4. Actively educating teenagers and youth with a long term perspective;
5. Protecting the environment by increasing the green zones and reducing pollution;
6. Promoting young entrepreneurship by encouraging local initiatives;
7. Developing efficient partnerships with local authorities for a solid development;
8. Facilitating access to cultural resources and intercultural exchanges.

in order to reach our vision and objectives, we consider that teenagers and youth are the primary resource that we should rely on during this process of civic and moral awareness, offering them the opportunity to bring their direct and practical contribution. Since 2014 Aproape de Tine/ri has been involved with Heroes Project and in 2019, Heroes and 360 Craiova have officialy become part of this association.
