Passed away peacefully into the presence of her Saviour on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Dawna will be lovingly remembered by her children and grandchildren; Dale and his children Kandice & Andrew, Cindy & Steve Coombs and their daughters, Katelyn & husband Lucas Weinberger, and Rachel & husband Matthew Renwick.
Dawna will be dearly missed by her sister Ollie Wilson, as well as her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol & Rev. Wilson Wiley*, and her many cherished nieces and nephews. *Rev. Wilson Wiley is an EMCC Ordained Minister.
Dawna is now reunited with her beloved husband, Rev. C. Edwin (Ed) Prosser*, who predeceased her on May 31, 2009, her father and mother Russell & Hazel Raymer, brother Russ Raymer, brother-in-law Lloyd Wilson, sister-in-law Carol Raymer, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lela & Rev. Alfred (Alf) Rees* and brother-in-law Dennis Prosser.
*The late Rev. Ed Prosser was an EMCC Ordained Minister. The late Rev. Alf Rees was an EMCC Ordained Minister.
Dawna loved being a pastor's wife and was Ed’s biggest supporter. She often worked alongside him as his secretary at the churches he pastored in Port Hope, Kitchener, (Faith), Berne & Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Listowel.
Dawna’s wonderful life was celebrated in a private family service on Saturday, March 13, 2021, which would have been her 91st birthday. Nothing would have pleased her more than to have her family gather together on her birthday.
Interment at a later date in Ebenezer Cemetery (Clearview Township). As expressions of sympathy, donations to Evergreen Christian Ministries or Emmanuel Bible College would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
