Covid-19 Updates and Resources

Navigating Covid-19

COVID-19 continues to advance in our world, and across Canada. As an EMCC family of churches and leaders who are passionately committed to following Jesus on mission together, we know that God is not absent, but fully present in us and with us. We are grateful for our churches who demonstrate the self-sacrificial love and care of Jesus and for Christ-inspired leaders, who encourage and inspire people to trust God for impossible strength, impossible love, and impossible results. Together we will be able, with God’s wisdom, to join others across our communities to navigate these uncharted waters.

As EMCC National Leaders, we are providing the following resources and updates as a supplement to whatever provincial, federal, and international guidelines, directions, and regulations are in place during the COVID-19 outbreak.

National Team Available Remotely

The National Team is available to provide ongoing support to our people. In this season, we will work together with our National Board to keep our teams and constituents informed as the situation develops and to make recommendations as necessary.

Encouragement and Prayer

Many are being impacted relationally, socially, psychological, physically and economically. We are calling all of our churches to prayer. Pastors and church leaders, thank you for calling your people to pray during this time. Our EMCC National Prayer Team will be coordinating a united EMCC call to prayer, with supplemental resources to follow, which will be published on this page very soon.

Living for Jesus

We are called, now and always, to imitate Christ, and the life He modelled for us. As we live like Jesus, for Jesus, filled and empowered with the Spirit of Jesus, we help bring a non-anxious presence and influence, that brings help and hope and life amid worry, fear and anxiety.
