On October 13, 2012, Marilyn McIlroy, EMCC Project Manager of Health and Community Development, will participate in the Ride for Refuge in Markham, ON. Her goal is to raise $2,500 to put toward housing, a vocational school and clean water for the village of Montegrande in Haiti. You can gather some friends and cycle with her to raise additional funds for these projects or choose another date and Ride for Refuge location to participate in. If cycling is not your thing, consider sponsoring a rider.
Marilyn says "The recipients of last year's "Homes for Haiti" say over and over again, thank you God and thank you Canada. I say, thank you sponsors for giving generously. God Bless."
